Sunday, May 4 - Zambonis join the Fight against Cancer at Skatefest 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland We are so happy to be a part of the HUGE battle against cancer. May 4th in Baltimore, MD. We will playing live at SKATEFEST 2008. The local community has teamed up with the NHL and its foundation, Hockey Fights Cancer, to host a one-day fun filled extravaganza to raise money for Cancer. In addition to us playing live, Washington Capitals & Philadelphia Flyers Alumni, Celebrity guest from The Food Network and more live performers, their will be activities such as a Skate-a-thon for two hours, skills competition & broom ball on the ice, rides, carnival games, vendors, food and much more! Second is to dress/disguise one of us Zambonis like a girl (Jon) and have him kick butt in the all female Frying Pan Toss competition. Since its inception in 1897, the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival has been a unique and remarkable celebration, not only for the enthusiasm of the village residents, but also for the structure that has come to symbolize the carnival, the Ice Palace.
