“Gibson guitars reached out to me on Jan 8th Tuesday morning, the day after the CNN piece aired and offered me free repairs on my damaged 1965 ES-335 and also a brand new 50th Anniversary re-issue of a 1963 Gibson ES-335 in the same Cherry red as my damaged baby.
I will be going into NYC Thursday to the Gibson showroom, doing an interview with them for their site and getting a tour of the facility. So to make it very clear, we all know Gibson guitars rock but, at this rare moment, the Gibson company is rocking even harder than Pete Townshend’s Les Paul . That’s not an easy feet. Thanks Gibson with all my heart. I plan on also purchasing 1 or 2 guitars from them and using those for some local charity auctions in the very near future. For me, life is all about the adventure and the story you get from it. Gibson just wrote a great ending to this tale.”
